Mahira Khan apologises over Halloween image of Shiv Sena

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who will be making debut in Bollywood along with Shah Rukh Khan in film Raees, has apologised over a Halloween image that showed her posing with Asim Raza, the director of her upcoming musical Ho Mann Jahan, who was carrying a note saying as ‘Mahira Kou Bahir Nikalou” dressed like a leader of Indian right wing party Shiv Sena.

In a post at micro-blogging website Twitter Mahira went on to say that the image was unintentional and that she would like to apologise for this if it hurt someone’s feelings.

Mahira Khan was recently targeted by Shiv Sena saying that it won’t allow Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to promote their movies in Mumbai.

Her first Bollywood is still in the process of production and expected to be released after Eid next year.

Mahira’s next Pakistani film Ho Mann Jahan is due on January 1, 2016.
