72 flights cancelled: No let-up in passengers woes as PIA-PALPA talks fail

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report ) -The second round of negotaitions between senior PIA officials and representatives of Pakistan Airlines Pilots Association was held in Islamabad today.

Talks failed due to stubbornness of Palpa. Meanwhile, there is no let-up in the suffering of passengers as 72 flights have been cancelled in five days.

The first round of talks chaired by special assistant to the prime minister on aviation Shujat Azeem was held on October 4 to resolve the ongoing crisis.

Senior Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary Aviation, President and vice president of PALPA also took part in the talks.
