SWAT – An earthquake jolted Swat and surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 104 kilometers underground. The epicenter was the Hindu Kush mountain range.
Upon feeling the tremors, residents recited the Kalma Tayyeba and rushed outside their homes. So far, no reports of casualties or damage have been received.
