Brother-in-law of key MQM leader nabbed for ‘china cutting’

KARACHI (Staff Report) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday apprehended Director Lines Area resettlement project Farid Yousafani for alleged involvement in ‘china cutting’ of government lands.

Yousafani is also brother-in-law of key MQM leader Anees Qaimkhani, according to a private news channel.

He has been found damaging government reserve worth rupees millions by selling government lands through china cutting, said NAB officials.

China cutting is a traditional term used for an illegal way of carving out big amenity plots, community centers, government plots, parks or even cemeteries into smaller plots up to 100 yards or below each and sale them.
