Received no letter from MQM, says Indian High Commission

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The spokesperson of Indian High Commission in Islamabad on Thursday said it has received no letter from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) so far, reported a private news channel.

The spokesperson, while responding to a question, further added the letter could have been sent through a courier service and we might receive in coming days.

Earlier on Thursday morning Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wrote letters to 55 countries including India urging them to take notice of ongoing operation of Rangers in Karachi which according to the party has been targeting its workers.

MQM senior leader Farooq Sattar, on the other hand, denied sending any such letter to India while saying “If a letter has been sent to India, it must be a mistake”.
