LAHORE – Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan’s prime minister in-waiting Imran Khan, slammed a member of the Bhutto family for making false comments on a picture of the Goldsmith family shared by a social media user on Twitter.
Ghinwa Bhutto, daughter-in-law of former slain PPP leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and wife of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, made speculative comments on a picture in which the ex-wife of the cricketer-turned-politician, her two sons and alleged daughter of Khan, Tyrian White, can be seen, wearing ponchos.
Bhutto claimed on Twitter that the family is “on a visit to the apartheid state of Israel,” a self-proclaimed state which is not accepted by several countries, including Pakistan.

Imran Khan, who is set to take oath as prime minister of Pakistan in coming days, has been accused of having links with Jews and receiving funding from them due to his former marriage to Jemima with whom he has two sons.
However, the claim ,which could fan such negative views against the PTI chief, was refuted by Jemima who also hit back at Ghinwa Bhutto for spreading misinformation.
The ex-spouse of Khan replied, “”This tweet is staggeringly ignorant and would be funny if it weren’t dangerous. The photo is taken on a family holiday in Mexico (not Israel) and we are wearing ponchos (not Jewish religious dress) @GhinwaBhutto – shame on you.”

Soon after Jemima’s reaction that made Ghinwa realised of her speculative remarks, the widow of Mir Murtaza tendered apology, saying; “Oh my god! that was Mexico ? My apologies. How perceptions can easily blind people, even me. But please, please do not lecture me about shame.”

Tyrian White is believed to be the alleged daughter of Imran Khan, after her mother Sita White, had once stated this. Imran Khan has always denied the allegation, but Jemima openly calls her her step daughter and usually seen in pictures with her.
