RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – A medical report, prepared by District Headquarters Hospital senior gynecologist, has confirmed fashion model Ayyan Ali is not pregnant, sources said on Monday.
The report was submitted before Customs Court Judge Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan along with the charge-sheet against the fashion model, who is currently facing a money smuggling case. The report states the suspect is in good health.
A couple of weeks ago, a TV anchor, Mubashir Luqman, had claimed that Ayyan Ali was five months pregnant.
While claiming on the basis of information of his ‘impeccable’ sources, Mubashir Luqman further claimed that Ayyan Ali had also undergone a DNA test.
During Monday’s proceedings, Ayyan’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa asked Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan to spare model Ayyan Ali, The Nation reported.
Khosa said, “Nisar Ali Khan has engaged all departments in the case of Ayyan Ali.”
He further questioned whether terrorism, extortion and robberies have come to an end in the country. “It’s beyond understanding what Nisar Ali Khan wants to achieve through the case of Ayyan Ali,” he contended.
Ayyan Ali was arrested by Customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
