Eid-ul-Fitr: President Mamnoon hosts Open House at the Aiwan-e-Sadr

ISLAMABAD – President Mamnoon Hussain on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr received guests from all walks of life at an Open House at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Wednesday and exchanged Eid greetings with them.

In addition to members of the general public, a large number of diplomats, politicians, senior officials and senior citizens were present at the occasion. While talking to the diplomats, the President said he would convey their sincere and warm greetings to the country’s leaders and masses.

The President said, “Eid is the day to thank Allah Almighty and we on this occasion should review our past and pledge to make this world a peaceful and beautiful place to live.” He also prayed for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity as well as for the solidarity of the Muslim Ummah and peace in the world.

A number of foreign diplomats met the President, hailing from countries including the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Turkey.
