It has just been recently revealed that former Miss World and Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will soon be pairing up on screen with none other than the dashing Bollywood and 24 television series actor Anil Kapoor for their upcoming movie.
The stars, who have starred together in Humara Dil Aapke Pass Hai and Taal, are teaming up after 17 years and will now be seen in Rakeysh Omrapakash Mehra’s much-anticipated release, Fanney Khan.
“We go on the floors by the year-end. It is a happy, slice-of-life film. We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come on-board,” the movie’s co-producer, Prernaa Arora, told reporters.
Fanney Khan is a comedy musical film which was initially pictured to be an official remake of Everybody’s Famous, directed by Dominique Deruddere.
However, it was later learned that the producers are making some changes to the script.
The dapper Anil Kapoor was last seen in Dil Dhadakne Do while the gorgeous Aishwarya essayed the role of a poetess in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
