Curfew imposed in parts of Khyber Agency following attack on checkpost

LANDI KOTAL – An indefinite curfew has been imposed in Bara and Jamrud districts of Khyber Agency following terrorist attack on a check-post late Saturday night, Geo News reported.

Pak-Afghan motorway has also been closed for traffic in the aftermath of the attack.

Earlier on Saturday, A gunmen attacked a check-post in Jamrud, leaving one khasadar dead and three FC personnel injured.

The gunmen opened fire at Takhta Beg checkpost at around 9 pm, security officials said. In the shootout which ensued, a khasadar identified as Shahid Khan was killed.
