KARACHI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif chaired a meeting on security situation at Corps Headquarters in port city here on Monday, Radio Pakistan reported.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded army, rangers, intelligence and other law enforcement agencies for visible improvement in security situation through ongoing operations. He also lauded peaceful conduct of local government polls in the provincial capital.
Corps Commander Karachi Lt. Gen. Naveed Mukhtar, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar and Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Bilal Akbar were also present in the meeting, ISPR said.
