KABUL – Around 20 peopled were killed and 38 injured when a suicide attack occurred near the Supreme Court in the centre of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, on Tuesday.
According to the interior ministry, a suicide attacker exploded himself in the parking of the top court targeting the employees at that time whey they were leaving their offices at the end of the working day.
Last month, Taliban bombers killed more than 30 people and wounded about 70 people in twin blasts in a crowded area of the city.
The Islamist militant Taliban, fighting to oust foreign forces and bring down the U.S.-backed government, claimed responsibility for the January 10 attack.
