KARACHI – Newly appointed Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair held a meeting with Commander of V Corps Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza at Governor House, and both pledged to continue operation in Karachi until peace is restored completely.
Both officials reviewed Karachi operation, overall security condition in the city, and other important issues during the meeting, local media reported.
Muhammad Zubair hailed the efforts and sacrifices of Rangers and other law enforcement institutions in ensuring peace in the province. The governor showed determination to take the Karachi operation to a logical end.
He further said that Karachi was an ideal city for investment and industrial progress, adding that unanimous efforts were required to restore its real identity.
