Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 151 runs in Blind T20 World Cup

DELHI – Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 151 runs in the Twenty20 World Cup for the Blind in Karnataka here on Tuesday.

After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bat first and set a huge victory target of two 296 to Bangladesh for the loss of just two wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Riasat Khan remained top scorer with unbeaten 104 runs while Badar Munir made blistering 93 off 32 balls.

Muhammad Jamil posted 72 runs whereas Israr Hassan scored 11 not out.

Bangladesh’s Abdullah Zobir and Md Faisal shared one wicket each.

Chasing the target, Bangladesh could only manage 144 runs for the loss of seven wickets in twenty overs.

Md Abdul Malek made 61, Nazrul Islam 18 scored runs.

Bangladesh innings was limited to 144 for the loss of seven wickets in twenty overs. Pakistan’s Israr Hassan, Badar Munir, Muhammad Idrees Saleem and Riasat Khan took one wicket each.

It was Pakistan’s seventh consecutive victory in the mega event.
