Sindh chief secretary will be taking action against ex-lawmakers on not surrendering official vehicles

KARACHI – Sindh chief secretary on Tuesday said that cases will be filed against former lawmakers who are not surrendering the official vehicles to focal persons.

As the secretariat failed to get the vehicles back from the ex-legislators, the chief secretary has forwarded a summary to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to retrieve the vehicles, stating that former members were not surrendering their official vehicles.

Back in November 2015, the chief minister had been informed that ex-officials and political personalities have occupied around 300 official bungalows, flats and quarters.

As a result, Murad Ali Shah had directed the chief secretary to take action in order to vacate the occupied government residencies.
