‘I am joining PTI unconditionally,’ said the former lawmaker who had cited religious reasons for ditching PML-N.
“The PML-N government during its tenure brought changes in Elections Act 2017 and tried to omit a Khatm-e-Nabuwwat oath from lawmakers, I wanted to leave the party after the model town incident and when they hanged Mumtaz Qadri,” he had said in a press conference.
Earlier, Imran Khan had made a telephone call to the politician and had lauded him for voicing his concerns against the party leadership, saying he was a brave politician.
