ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the provocative and sacrilegious remarks regarding Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) made by a Hindu priest Yati Narsinghan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch at a news briefing in Islamabad on Monday, said the remarks have gravely hurt the feelings of the people of Pakistan and Muslims around the world.
The spokesperson urged the Indian authorities to hold the priest to account and take immediate action to curb the growing tide of religious intolerance and hate speech targeting Muslims in India.
