ISLAMABAD – On Wedneday the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued a notice to PTI chief Imran Khan and PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz for violation of code of conduct for electoral process.
As per reports, Imran Khan and Hamza Shehbaz had participated in campaign of by-elections of NA-63 and PP-232 last year in violation of the code of conduct.
The ECP had taken notice of their participation in election campaign despite holding the office in the National Assembly.
Now, the ECP has summoned them on February 14 to attend the hearing in this regard.
