GILGIT – A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officer’s house was attacked on Wednesday (today) in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the details, Unidentified people opened fire on investigation officer Abdul Majid’s house in Jutial area of Gilgit, before setting it on fire.
Soon after the incident, police officials arrived at the site and started preliminary investigations.
Fortunately, the NAB official, who enjoys a good reputation regarding his active role for foiling corruption in the province remained unharmed.
Reportedly, the officer is currently investigating pivotal cases related to corruption in which affluent people are involved.
