ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan is planing to host a conference in Islamabad to attract Saudi investors, said Federal Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan in a meeting with Saudi Arabian Ambassador Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani.
On the occasion, he said a grand marketing campaign would be started in Saudi Arabia focusing on the huge South Asian diaspora and the native Saudi population to create awareness about the Pakistani products.
Meanwhile, talking to Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale the Commerce Minister said the two countries should focus on removal of non-tariff trade hindrances.
Khurram Dastgir also held a meeting with Afghan Ambassador Omer Zakhilwal and discussed issues regarding bilateral and transit trade.
