LAHORE- Controversy is one thing, chaos is another. The Lux Style Awards dissension continues as Faris Shafi has asked the organisers to remove his song, Clap, from Best Song nominations. The song also features another artist, Talal Qureshi.
The singer-cum-actor took to Twitter saying, “Requesting that the following track, which has been nominated for ‘Best Song’ at the Lux Style Awards be removed from the list of nominees.”

He further shared, “Talal Qureshi and I are neither attendings, nor endorsing the awards.”

Earlier, multiple celebs rejected their nominations, including Meesha Shafi, Eman Suleman, The Sketches, Generation, Saima Bargfrede, Fatima Nasir and Rubab Ali, calling out Lux Style Awards for nominating an accused sexual harasser this year.
