PTI may change Raiwind March date and venue

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday hinted that PTI may change the venue and the date of the Raiwind March which was announced to take place on September 24.

Addressing a public rally in Karachi on September 6, Imran Khan had announced that his party will march towards the Raiwind residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to seek an investigation into the Panama Papers revelations.

However, responding to a question outside the National Assembly on Thursday, the PTI chief said that his party might reconsider the date and the venue of the protest.

He further added that PTI did not want to take a solo flight and wanted to act after consultation with other opposition parties.

Earlier this day, Imran Khan strongly criticised National Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq for not maintaining a neutral position among the government and opposition political parties.
