France condemns Quetta blast

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – France has strongly condemned the Quetta blast which claimed over 70 lives and injured 112 people on Monday, terming it to be a coward attack by terrorists.

A statement released by French Embassy in Islamabad said that President Francoise Hollande expressed deep grief and extended condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the blast.

“France expresses full solidarity with the government of Pakistan and the people of the country, who were already badly hit by the terrible terrorist attack in Lahore in March this year,” the statement added.

Deputy Spokesperson of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development also denounced the attack in strong words. He said that France assures Pakistan of its full support in the fight against terrorism.
