Only half hour needed to resolve judicial commission issue, says Dar

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Ishaq Dar said that matter of establishment of judicial commission to probe rigging in May 11 polls could be resolved within half an hour if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cooperates with government.
While talking to media he said that government wants the establishment of judicial to probe rigging in elections. But government needs PTI’s support for some clauses of the treaty, he added.
Dar said that PTI wants to have the investigations done by the commission inclusive of all the rigging related petitions but this act would imply that rigging has been done intentionally.
To include such a word in the Terms of Reference (TORs) of the establishment of judicial commission would be equivalent to plead guilty of rigging, he explained.
Dar further said that there is nothing in the amended draft of judicial commission to negate it.
