RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Supermodel Ayyan Ali, who is currently detained in Adiala jail for smuggling $500,000 to Dubai, is taking special care of jail officials in return to provision of ‘super facilities’, reported local media.
According to local media reports, the model has asked one of her close aides to buy a refrigerator and give it to in-charge women ward, lady deputy superintendent (LDS) of Adiala Jail, in return of her hospitality and special attention she was paying towards Ayyan during her hard times. A source quoted as saying, “The LDS takes care of the model more than anyone else does in the cell”.
On the other hand, the court snubbed the Custom investigators on Friday over delay in completion of charge-sheet against the accused and ordered them to submit it before the court. The court adjourned the hearing in the money smuggling case till May 18, 2015.
Ayyan’s lawyer Sardar Ishaq told the court that Custom officials have still not prepared final challan and presenting baseless excuses on every hearing. He has requested the court to release Ayyan Ali on interim bail.
Khurram Latif Khosa, another lawyer of Ayyan also stated that Ayyan was a Cultural ambassador of Pakistan and being a female she deserves sympathy.
