LAHORE – Coke studio’s sensational vocalists Momina Mustehsan and Uzair Jaswal’s new track Hamesha is now out! The single features the two of them in a diner setting that resembles ‘Riverdale’ a lot. The plot, however, is a confusing one, and it has left a few fans wondering what the message has been all about.
In the video, Uzair and Momina play a couple who both work at a diner. According to the plot, Uzair is a writer and he writes a story envisioning their lives together – while they still work at the diner in a very multi-dimensional manner. He even takes a bullet for her, taking us back to the Riverdale shooting sequence in Season 1.
Interestingly, Riverdale isn’t the only inspiration for this music video, Infinity War gave the ‘dusting away’ action too, except there is no Thanos snapping his fingers, but the story that Uzair envisioned dust away and the two reunite much later in old age.
The song itself is great and must-listen for music lovers who are all for meaningful lyrics. But, it could have been eye-catchy.
