ISLAMABAD – Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who avoided being part of Nawaz Sharif’s GT Road rally attended the session of national Assembly, here on Thursday.
Nisar, who’s dubious political wisdom left his party workers in a state of shock, was rumoured to drive the vehicle of his ousted boss Nawaz Sharif, however, he could not be seen among the jubilant crowd jeering and cheering on the first leg of the homecoming rally of Sharif.
Sources had disclosed on Wednesday that the former interior minister would welcome Nawaz Sharif in his constituency NA-52 Rawat, but Ch Nisar kept himself low profile, the whole day.

On Thursday, when the rally started its journey from Punjab House Rawalpindi, Nisar did not show up there as well.
The guessing game regarding the law maker ended when he arrived at the Lower House of the Parliament at a time when the rally of ruling party was set to start the second leg of its journey towards Lahore.
During his brief remarks on the floor of the house, Nisar expressed that he could not join the rally owing to a backache.
“Nawaz Sharif had advised me to take rest,” claimed Nisar and left the parliament house at around 2 PM.
The rally of PML-N is racing towards Jhelum at approximately 80 km/hr and it is believed that Nawaz Sharif would address the audience there.
