80 girls fall unconscious due to dengue spray at Attock school

ATTOCK (Staff Report) – At least 80 schoolchildren fell unconscious on Thursday following anti-dengue mosquito spray at the Government girls primary school in Attock district.

Daily Pakistan’s correspondent from the area has said the incident occurred at a public school in Jund area of Attock. Around 1370 girl students were present in the school at the time of spray.

Emergency has been imposed at a district hospital school where over 70 students were shifted on self-help basis, hospital officials confirmed to Daily Pakistan.

“Strangely, the local administration carried out the spray during the school timings,” a hospital official.
