DAMASCUS (Web Desk) – Three truck bomb blasts in the town of Tel Tamer in Syria’s Al Hasakah province have killed up to 60 and more than 80 people injured.
A spokesperson for Kurdish militia that controls the area told on Friday.
The blasts struck near a Kurdish militia forces field hospital and in the crowded market square, Asia Times reported.
Most of the affected were civilians, but there were some Kurdish fighters among them.
According to details trucks were packed with large amounts of explosives, which also inflicted significant damage to nearby buildings.
The town is home to an Assyrian Christian community, has become a target of numerous terror attacks and incursions by Islamic State over the last months.
