Shehbaz Sharif s family indebted to me for ending political future of Nawaz, says Imran Khan

BUREWALA – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday claimed that Shehbaz Sharif, the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was overjoyed at punishments awarded to his elder brother and niece by an accountability court.

Addressing a public gathering in Burewala, the PTI chief said that Shehbaz and his son, Hamza Shehbaz, were grateful to him from their heart for ending the political future of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, Maryam Nawaz.

Shehabaz and Hamza also distributed sweets when the accountability court sentenced both leaders of PML-N to jail in the Avenfield case. He added that the former Punjab chief minister was eyeing on the seat of prime minister in the coming elections.

Slamming Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman, he said that Bilawal did not work for even an hour in his life and now he is contesting elections to become prime minister of Pakistan.

The cricketer-turned-politician said that Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz have been ruled the country in the past as the public had no third option.

He said, “A new Pakistan is going to emerge after July 25,” adding that the PTI will break the hegemony of both parties in the coming polls.

Khan pledged to strengthen the underprivileged part of the society after assuming power, adding that a country cannot achieve development without the supremacy of law.

He vowed to provide maximum facilities to farmers in order to boost the agriculture sector of Pakistan, adding that a research centre will also be established in the country.
