LAHORE – Following the super success of her Bollywood debut ‘Raees’ which also shattered several box office records, the Pakistani heartthrob Mahira Khan has increased her charges from one to three lacs for each episode of local dramas.
According to media reports, the Ho Mann Jahaan actor has now increased her charges for displaying matchless acting skills giving other veteran celebrities a run for their money.
Mahira shot to fame for her character Khirad Ihsan opposite Fawad Khan in Humsafar and then she saw lady luck smiling on her. She became an overnight star and a household name as the drama serial established her as a leading actress of Pakistan.
Following the success of Humsafar, she worked in many Pakistani serials and then her fame took her to Bollywood where she shared the frame with Shah Rukh Khan.
Mahira began her TV career as a host in various programmes which include ‘Most Wanted’ and ‘Weekend with Mahira’. She made her film debut from Shoaib Mansoor’s phenomenal ‘Bol’.
The 32-year-old actor later went on to act in numerous TV dramas and films which gained immense popularity. Mahira is now the top actress of the Pakistani film and TV industry and the highest paid too.
She is also the first Pakistani actress to enter the 100-crore club in Bollywood.
The gorgeous lady is currently gearing up for Bilal Lashari’s ‘Maula Jatt 2’ and Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’.
