Attock school dengue spray case: Girls brought back to hospital in critical condition, no doctor on duty

ATTOCK (Staff Report) – More than 15 girls have been brought back to the the hospital in a critical condition, who were earlier sent home after being treated for anti-dengue mosquito spray at the Government girls primary school in the Attock on Thursday.

Girls brought to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Attock have trouble difficulty in breathing, said hospital sources.

No doctors are present on the duty, neither oxygen has been given to the girls. Parents brought the girls on tractors or rickshaws, as the hospital has no ambulance service available.

Meanwhile, parents are protesting in the hospital as their daughters’ condition gets worse every minute.

According to sources, parents, who could afford private treatment, have taken their daughters to Rawalpindi.

At least 80 schoolchildren fell unconscious on Thursday following anti-dengue mosquito spray at the Government girls primary school in Attock district.
