KARACHI (Web Desk) – Prominent Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader and member of the National Assembly Faisal Subzwari returned from abroad on Saturday after several months.
Talking to newsmen at the MQM-Pakistan’s PIB Colony office, he said that the operation against crime should continue in Karachi. However, he added, problems would be solved when all institutions would own the city.
He termed MQM’s decision to restrain from collection of hides as a “goodwill gesture”. Earlier, Sabzwari had gainsaid the rumors regarding his entry into Mustafa kamal’s PSP adding that he was not in touch with former Karachi mayor.
To a question whether he wants “”Manzil or Rehnuma” Faisal quipped”I want food and car now”.
On the occasion, MQM-P chief Dr Farooq Sattar maintained that Mr. Subzwari had gone abroad with the permission of the party although Subzwari himself expressed that he left the country owing to security threats.
Farooq said that closed offices of the party should be allowed to reopen so that the party can continue the regular political activities. HE reiterated the demand for the release of Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar on parole along with ‘release of missing’ workers of the party.
Dr. Sattar showed suspicion regarding the arrest of MQM workers and said that “Fake” cases had been registered against Muttahida workers on the charge of being involved in the recent incidents of arson across the metropolis.
