KARACHI – Rangers detained Assistant Registrar Karachi University Arif Haider during a raid at the campus on Thursday.
Administration of the university confirmed the incident and said that Arif Haider was taken into custody from his office, without revealing any further details.
Arif Haider has been shifted to an undisclosed location after the detention.
Rangers launched a wide-spread operation in the metropolis and arrested 6 more individuals from different areas including Korangi, Jamshed Town and City Town areas.
