LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan today tweeted a response regarding the lack of improvement in social services within Bannu district, which he was alerted to during yesterday’s rally in Bannu city.
During the rally, Khan asked the people of Bannu whether education, healthcare and policing had improved in the district. However, they responded in the negative.
Following this unexpected response, the PTI chief revealed on Twitter that he had later questioned the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak about the public’s issues.
The CM revealed that the district had been overburdened by the influx of more than one million Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) in wake of operation Zarb-i-Azb.
