KARACHI (Web Desk) – The fifth meeting of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) held in Karachi on Thursday reviewed several energy projects including 250 mw wind energy project in Sindh.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal later talking to newsmen at Karachi press club said that 2600 mw energy projects are being launched in every province.
He informed that the meeting agreed to complete work on western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as soon as possible. He maintained that Pakistan and China will also establish industrial cooperation group.
The Minister said that Karachi to Peshawar railway track will also be upgraded. He added that restoration of peace in Karachi was top priority of the government. He said that the government launched Karachi operation with the consensus of all political parties.
He further said the country’s foreign reserve has reached to 20 billion dollars. He said that the government will try to improve its efficiency.
