ISLAMABAD – The Met Office has forecast mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country.
Light rain-thunderstorm with snow over the mountains is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Shallow fog/smog is expected in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions during morning hours, the Met Office added.
Light rain occurred in Sahiwal, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad and Gujrat.
According to synoptic situation a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper/central parts of the country.
