Pakistan Rangers, Indian BSF agree to restore ceasefire

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) officials on Saturday agreed to restore a ceasefire at the Working Boundary during a meeting held in New Delhi.

The both forces’ heads also agreed to carry out joint investigations into any violations along border in future.

The Pakistan Rangers spokesman said in statement that India’s DG BSF has assured that in the future such incidents will not take place.

The issue of Rangers personnel martyrdom was raised during the flag meeting, a spokesman for the paramilitary force said.

The BSF will also share details of smugglers with Pakistan Rangers, said the spokesman.
