Rulers in Punjab are punishment from God: Bilawal

LAHORE (Web Desk) – PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Lahore has been thrown to accomplices of terrorist.

Speaking at workers convention, he warned the government to ‘correct their direction’ as times have changed.

He said that rulers imposed on Punjab are no less than punishment from God and said that neither are they ‘khadim’(servants) nor ‘ala’(great).

Bilawala said that on one hand, Army is fighting the terrorists whereas the rulers are destroying the economy.

He said that policies of rulers are not masses-friendly and are also denying farmers of their rights.

He said that corruption is rampant in government whereas National Accountability Bureau is nowhere to be seen.

He inquired as to when the investigations for Nandipur power project will be held.

Bilawal said that the PM Nawaz policies are hurting farmers’ livelihood yet he is bent on building metros.

He implored that if the rulers cannot make sure that farmers earn their bread then they have no right to rule.

He said that in the rule of the ‘Khadim-e-Ala’, farmers had been forced to throw their potatoes on the roads.

Bilawal called the current government as pro-capitalist government as the farmers are suffering.

He said that the former had promised to end load shedding in 6 months otherwise he would change his name. Bilawal inquired as to what the new name of the CM should be.

He reiterated his stance and that of his party saying that they are with Pakistan Army and will remain so in future.
