Fishermen in Pakistan have sighted Sperm whale while navigating about 22 km South of Gunz, near Jiwani which experts believe has never been reported live from Pakistani waters.

This is the first time that a pair of sperm whales has been sighted in Pakistan water, claims WWF Pakistan.

A living sperm whale has been spotted for the first time in Pakistan by fishermen in the Jeevani area of Gwadar, who captured on video.

WWF-P technical adviser Moazzam Khan told Geo News that this is the first time this rare whale has been spotted in the country and previously only skeletons were spotted twice.

The sperm whale is distinguished by its large head and has the biggest brain of any creature known to have lived on Earth.
