KARACHI (Web Desk/ Agencies) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed five alleged terrorists during in a search operation here on Monday.
As per statement issued by law enforcement said a team launched action against terrorists in Khairabad area of Orangi Town, where it engaged in exchange of fire with the militants and at least five accused were killed during the action.
SP Raja Umear Khattab said the police busted the suspected militant hideout following credible intelligence,
“At least five outlaws were killed at the end of a shootout with the cops. Two of them were al Qaeda commanders,” said he adding the slain terrorists were involved in a recent armed assault on Rangers personnel deployed at Qalandria Chowk.
The victims were identified as Usman, Ibrahim, and Nurul Hassan alias Hashim.
