PM has no way to escape from Panama case: Fawad Chaudhary

LAHORE – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is so entangled in Panama case that he has no way to escape, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary, who also added that the case would also be brought to the public court.

During a press conference in Lahore, Fawad stated that no investigation had been initiated by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), nor was any commission formed to probe the matter.

He added that while a larger bench of the court had heard the case, only the arguments of the counsel for Nawaz Sharif’s children had been presented, and the case had been adjourned.

The PTI spokesperson has claimed that a general election would be held in 2017 due to which the PTI had decided to hold public meetings to create awareness among people.

Chaudhary Ijaz, former president of the Punjab chapter of PTI,  has said that this awareness campaign would also address the Havelian plane crash of 7 December 2016, adding that this horrific incident should not be brushed under the table. He also called for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to tender his resignation.
