ISLAMABAD – Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajawa condemned the heinous terrorist attack in Mashtung which killed at least 85 people, including an election candidate and more than 150 others injured.
Bajwa grieved on the loss of precious lives. Pakistan lost a highly devoted & capable politician Siraj Raisani, said DG ISPR in a tweet.

The explosion occurred on Friday at an election meeting of Nawabzada Siraj Raisani in Darengarh area of Mastung, in the southern Pakistani province of Balochistan.

Raisani, who was a candidate of the recently-formed Balochistan Awami Party, was killed in the suicide attack. He was younger brother of Nawab Aslam Raisani, former chief minister of Balochistan.
