KARACHI (Staff Report) –Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has reversed the decision to remove IG Police Ghulam Haider Jamali just an hour after he was sacked from his position following a deadly attack in Karachi where unidentified assailants killed as many as 45 people.
The chief minister in his latest statement said Jamali and his team have performed commendable work to restore peace in Karachi.
The Sindh government had ordered Jamali to immediately leave his office previously.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah suspended the DSP and SHO of Safoora Chorunga area where the attack took place on Wednesday morning.
At least 45 people were killed and 11 people were injured in an attack on a bus carrying members of Ismaili community near Safoora Chowrangi in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
