ISLAMABAD (Staff Report)-Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that remittances by overseas Pakistanis play a significant role to increase Foreign Exchange Reserves of the country.
He was talking to High Commissioner designate to Canada Tariq Azeem in Islamabad.
He lauded the role of overseas Pakistanis for strengthening national economy and urged the need to attract more foreign investment in Pakistan.
Speaking on this occasion, the High Commissioner designate said that enhancing the bilateral cooperation and boosting the economic ties between Pakistan and Canada would be focused on top priority.
