LAHORE – Sikh community celebrates Baisakhi today (Sunday) with a lot of charm and gusto to mark the advent of order of the Khalsa by 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Radio Pakistan reported. The Khalsa Panth was founded in Anandpur Sahib in 1699. In Pakistan, the Sikh community from across the world including India, Canada, the United Kingdom besides those from within country is participating in the festivities at Gurdwara Punja Sahib in Hassan Abdal. Baisakhi processions called Nagar Keertan were taken out in the premises of Gurdawara Punja Sahib yesterday with traditional performances and religious rites.
