CHITRAL – Two persons were killed and one injured after a double cabin pick-up slipped into a deep ravine while taking a short turn near Suri Bala, Terich, District Chitral on Thursday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials the pick-up was coming from Terich to Chitral and on reaching Surey Bala Area the driver lost control over the vehicle and fell into a deep ravine. Killing one Haider Habib Khan, a resident of Marvai and Afzal Khan residence of Barance died on way to hospital, while driver Nasir Ahmad sustained critical injuries and was shifted to district headquarters hospital for medical treatment.
Koh Ghazi Police Station has registered a case.
It is pertaining to mention here that in Chitral most of the roads are without safety walls along the river.
