Pakistan s first Land Rover Defender Kahn Design comes into the open

ISLAMABAD – Apart from many other hobbies, varying from sports to travelling, Pakistanis have proven that they are good at preserving vintage cars as well as buying luxurious vehicles, a harbinger of which is the first Land Rover Defender customised by Kahn Design.

A man from Pakistan’s capital Islamabad has managed to grab Pakistan’s first Land Rover Defender custom-designed by Kahn Designs. The owner of the vehicle is reportedly Sardar Yasir who’s the CEO and Group Director of the sky-high Centaurus Mall in Islamabad.

The base variant of Land Rover Defender Station Wagon costs from $70,000 to $100,000 powered by 200 Tdi turbodiesel I4 produced 107 hp (80 kW) and 195 lb⋅ft (264 N⋅m) of torque with 6-speed manual transmission.

Kahn Design

Kahn Design is a British-based company that specializes in the modification of vehicles. It was founded by Afzal Kahn. The company is best known for designing and selling alloy wheels, but it also sells modified parts for luxury vehicles such as the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wranglers.

In 2014, Kahn moved into production of special edition vehicles, beginning with the release of a series of Land Rover Defender models under the Flying Huntsman brand, including extended bodywork, upgraded engine, suspension and braking systems and luxury interior design. The first two models to be announced, the 4×4 Huntsman 105 Longnose and the 6×6 Huntsman 110 Longnose.
