PML-N rigged general elections openly: Imran Khan

LAHORE (Web Desk) – PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that they knew that the Election Commission of Pakistan wants to get the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) succeed.

Addressing a ceremony held to celebrate the PP-147 victory in Garhi Sahahu on Wednesday, he said that they would investigate how much votes were shifted and included in the constituency.

“Justice cannot be done without fixing the system,” he maintained.

Imran Khan said that the PML-N had rigged the general elections openly. “Nawaz Sharif has never done a legal work,” he alleged.

He said that he was suspicious that workers would be disappointed by the defeat by 2,500 votes. “It seems that we have won. I have come to congratulate the workers.”

The PTI chairman said that Aleem Khan and Shoaib Siddiqui contested the election against the institutions of the Punjab. “Defeat or victory is my past. I am not afraid of the defeat. I cannot let anyone to rig the polls,” he added.

He said that the foundation of a new Pakistan would be laid after clear and transparent election. “The prime minister is not allowed to participate in the electioneering,” he maintained.

Imran Khan said that rigging at large-scale was committed in 2013.

“No one should tell me that who is ideological who is not. I know every old worker. I had jumped into politics alone. My forefathers were not politicians. I am a novice politician. I formed the party alone,” he said.
