On any given day, your skin battles so many things at the same time: sweat, pollution, pore-clogging face makeup). We give some tips on how to unclog your pores and leave skin feeling fresher and healthier.
Parsley water:
Who knew parsley could be a pore-decongesting treatment? Take freshly washed parsley and add it in a bowl of boiling water. Dip a washcloth into the cooled water and place onto your face for 15 minutes. Repeating this ritual every other day is great news for skin.
Baking soda scrub:
Baking soda is an easy deep pore cleanser and gently exfoliates. Two teaspoons of baking soda with one teaspoon of water massaged onto the face removes dead skin cells and balances out the skin. Make sure that you form a paste first and leave it on the skin for about five minutes.
Lemon treatment:
Citric acid in lemons works to exfoliate skin, clearing out any dirt or oil residing in the pores. Cut a lemon in half and rub over affected area. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Pore strips:
Easiest way to unclog pores are pore strips, which can be bought at your local supermarket.
Double exfoliation:
Facial Washes and Acne Cleansers are the way to go!
